Seeking help and making contact with WRSASC

WRSASC encourages women and girls to self-refer but we also accept referrals from other agencies or representatives if this makes it easier for them to access our services.

When you ring the helpline you will be treated with sensitivity and respect. At WRSASC we recognise how hard it is to make that call and we will do all that we can to support you.

Telephone helpline 01905 724514

Helpline opening times:

Monday

7.30pm to 9.30pm

Tuesday

1.00pm to 5.00pm

Thursday

7.30pm to 9.30pm

Friday

10.00am to 2.00pm

At any other time you can use our answer machine and leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can. Our counsellors will be discreet when returning your call, however if you have a preferred or ‘safe’ time for us to call you back please do let us know.

Almost all the women who call the Helpline will call more than once, many becoming regular callers, sometimes over many years.  Callers are always told how the line works so they are aware that they are not able to call and speak to the same supporter every time but that whoever they do speak to will offer just as much time and compassion.
